About Pediatric Dose Calculator

Pediatric Dose Calculator helps parents and caregivers give children’s medicine at the right dose. It turns published pediatric dosing tables into a calculator you can use at 2 a.m. with a sick child: enter a weight, pick the product on your box, and get the amount in mL.

It’s made by Monarca Labs, the team behind the Pediatric Dose Calculator app for Android.

What we do and don’t do

• We copy doses from named sources: the American Academy of Pediatrics, children’s hospitals, the CDC, and FDA labels. We don’t invent our own dosing.
• Every page lists its sources and the date its doses were last checked against them.
• The calculator refuses to give a dose when a child is too young for a medicine, and tells you to call a doctor instead.
• We don’t diagnose, and we don’t replace your child’s doctor or pharmacist.
